There's not a whole lot out there this morning, considering it is the middle of their bye week.  Here's what I could find.

First, if you haven't already, please make your picks for the Jersey Contest.

John Hunt's piece in the Oregonian today talks about the Ducks moving past the tough loss this weekend.  As I mentioned yesterday, how the team comes out against Wazzu will tell me a lot about this team.  At this point, I am optimistic that the Cal game will not be the start of another second half slide.

Rob Moseley blogs about yesterday's practice, noting that the Ducks seemed to be in good spirits.  He also included a couple of anecdotes from the practice, in which the underclassmen got a lot of work.  Some good stuff, so check it out.

On the national scene, the Ducks check in at #11 in the ESPN Power 16. Unfortunately, the comment is the obligatory reminder of what happened to Oregon last year after losing to Cal. And, Steve Megargee expands on the issue is his article for Yahoo Sports.

Dwight Jaynes (Portland Tribune) discusses the uphill battle the Ducks now face in trying to earn a BCS bid.

And, for those of you interested, the Men's Cross Country team is ranked #1 in the country.  The Women's team checks in at #3.
