A few updates

The last few days have seen a couple of interesting news items on the Ducks.  First, 6'8" Frantz Dorsainvil has finally been cleared to return to the US.  He's been stuck in Canada awaiting clearance from immigration.  He'll have two years of eligibility remaining.  Last season at the JC level, he averaged 10.7 points and 7.0 rebounds a game.  Good news, as the Ducks seem to always be in need of another rebounder.

In other news, the Ducks named Pat Kilkenny the new Atheletic Director today.   Kilkenny, of course, is an Oregon alumnus who has donated generously to the school in the past.  Interestingly, one of his latest donations was part of the buyout of Bill Moos.  Not sure how I feel about this -- though I would have to believe that this bodes well on getting the basketball arena back on track.
