Back in January, I talked a bit about Genarlow Wilson, the former college recruit who was sentenced to ten years in prison for having consensual oral sex with a freshman while he was a junior. I'm happy to report via ESPN that Genarlow Wilson was freed today. Moreover, he will not have to register as a sex offender. It is still sad that Mr. Wilson missed two years of his life and the chance to play college athletics over this. However, it looks like he will be starting to put his life back together. I wish him the best of luck.

--Dave Update [2007-6-13 16:44:53 by Dave]: ESPN reports that Genarlow will stay in prison while the State of Georgia appeals the decision. Apparently, all the imbreeding that occurs in Georgia produces an inordinate amount of dumbasses. Words cannot explain.
