Maarty Leunen and Bryce Taylor are off to Pennsylvania to try out for Team USA. They are among 30 college players trying to make the squad for the Pan American games, July 25-29 in Brazil. A similar article in The Oregonian says that Ray Schafer and Mitch Platt will play for the international exhibition team Athletes in Action. Hopefully, they'll pick up some skills that will make them somewhat useful next year.
There are also a couple of interesting notes in Bob Rickert's OregonLive Blog regarding Tajuan Porter's first game dominance on the U-19 squad and Marcus Maxwell's chances of making the Niners this season. I don't want to steal his thunder, so head over there for those.
