Oregon moves back into the teens. I really think that this offense is scary. South Carolina joins them after going into Athens knocking off Georgia, who remains in the poll at #24. It also seemed only fair that South Florida, who beat Auburn in Auburn, get to take the Tigers spot in the poll, and I grudgingly put UCLA in. While I'm still not sold yet, you have to give them credit for what they've done thus far. Washington's the first team out.
Dropping out is Virginia Tech. It may seem harsh to drop them from #12 to out of the poll, but that offense is TERRIBLE, and their defense looked pretty bad, too. They'll have trouble in the ACC with that offense.
Auburn was the team that I debated the most on whether to drop or not. I eventually felt that South Florida deserved that spot, though Auburn is also among my first out of the poll. Hawaii looked awfully suspect against La. Tech, and have been moved down to reflect their performance. Oklahoma moves up to the three spot after a VERY impressive performance.
This is just a draft, and my final ballot isn't due until Wednesday morning. Let me know your thoughts on the subject.
GO DUCKS!!!
