The 12 Days of Duckmas: Day 9

In keeping with the Holiday Season, I would like to present a series called "The 12 Days of Duckmas", counting down 12 of the best moments from Oregon Duck Athletics in 2008. This isn't meant to be a comprehensive list by any means and is certainly not in order of importance. If anything is left out, the 13th day will be for finishing up the leftovers, taking back the unwanted gifts and spending those giftcards.

Now remember to sing along now...

Phil Knight alluded to a new uniform being in the works but were we in for a surprise. Whether you loved them or hated them, the Ducks made a huge splash against Arizona wearing the "Lights Out" gear, throwing up 45 points in the first half of the game. The Arizona game gave Duck fans something they had been looking for all season, a feeling that our offense had finally come together. After Masoli led the comeback against Stanford, many pointed to how all great Oregon QBs have that "signature win" that sets them off. For the end of the 2008 season, the momentum train had started. From Masoli's 66 yard scamper to Blount's 40 yard run to seal it, the final 2008 home game conjured up memories of the special season of 2007.

The only downside? We are still waiting for Duck4Lif3 to give us that brick he was referring to since this was a game too late for his promise
