The 12 Days of Duckmas: Day 6

In keeping with the Holiday Season, I would like to present a series called "The 12 Days of Duckmas", counting down 12 of the best moments from Oregon Duck Athletics in 2008. This isn't meant to be a comprehensive list by any means and is certainly not in order of importance. If anything is left out, the 13th day will be for finishing up the leftovers, taking back the unwanted gifts and spending those giftcards.

Now remember to sing along now...

some hope and promise for the new year...(and beyond!)

At the end of the 2007-08 season, the Oregon Men's Basketball team was faced with replacing 4 out of their 5 starters. What does Ernie do? Go out to the mean streets of Chicago and put together an awesome recruiting class. Michael Dunigan has already proved his worth in the starting 5 and with Josh Crittle and Matt Humphrey playing meaningful minutes, this young Oregon team has gained valuable experience 10 games into the season. Losing so much experience has proven difficult but the freshmen ducks are showing signs of coming together and will be quite the force in the next few years
