Update [2008-2-6 21:49:43 by jtlight]: Here are a couple round ups for the day. Rickert breaks down the class, Moseley gives his recap of Bellotti's press conference, and here's Bellotti's conference in video with bios for each recruit. This is a very, very good class: 19th in the nation and 3rd in the Pac-10. We continue to add very, very good pieces that will thrive in the system. Oregon football is not fading. We've got great coaches and great kids. GO DUCKS!
Well, signing day has finally arrived. We'll try to keep an updated list of athletes that have signed on this main page. Feel free to post all comments and discussion in this thread.
We have received letters of intent from:
- Hamani Stevens, C (Chose us over UCLA) -- His signing is not updated on the Oregon signed LOI page, but Rivals has him indicated as already signed his LOI. We now have his LOI.
- Ellis Krout, WR (JC) (From Rickert. Note: Scout has him only as a verbal, no LOI.)
- John Boyett, CB
- Kiko Alonso, LB
- Kenjon Barner, RB/DB
- Chris Harper, QB
- LaMichael James, RB
- Dion Jordan, WR/TE
- Mychal Rivera, TE
- Scott Grady, CB
- Nick Cody, OL
- Dewitt Stuckey, LB
- Justin Thompson, DL (JC)
- Josh Kaddu, LB
- Blake Cantu, WR
- Garrett Embry, WR
- Zach Taylor, LS (JC)
- LaGarrette Blount, RB (JC)
- Blake Ferras, DT (JC)
- Darron Thomas, QB
As another note, from ESPN, Tommy Streeter decided to stay close to home and go to Miami.
And another letdown, Boyd is going to Kentucky. Rickert sums my feelings up well.
Enrique Davis, who we thought we had a shot with, has also said he will be going to Ole Miss.

Update [2008-2-6 12:21:17 by Dave]: Darron Thomas has signed his LOI, which is hardly a surprise as he's already enrolled. Also, according to Pryor on ESPNU, Pryor won't decide today and Oregon is back in the mix. At this rate, we'll know sometime in August where he is going. However, with this playing out as long as it is, he almost has to make a visit.
Update [2008-2-6 13:06:17 by ntrebon]: Want to hear about how Thomas is doing? Moseley has an article up that talks about his early enrollment and his desire to start at QB ASAP. Also, here is the corresponding blog entry, with some more information. Good reads, so check them both out.
Update [2008-2-6 13:41:36 by jtlight]: More from Pryor. Here we go, straight from his mouth, check out the video of his press conference today. He said Oregon is definitely in, and he will be taking a flight to Eugene sometime soon. I'll believe it when I see it. And seriously, good luck to the kid. Seems like he needs it.
