I hope all of you are enjoying your long weekend. With the Oregon losses and the eyes of a nation on Washington, Duck news is rather sparse, but here's few links:
-
Rickert has another recruiting update. Oregon got a verbal commit for the 2010 class (the second commit for that class), Florida RB Ethan Grant, who sounds like he's a real speedster, and is a member of the Rivals250 to watch 2010. Oregon also had a visit from 4* WR recruit Adam Hall. His decision will come down to Oregon and Arizona.
[UPDATE] Apparently Grant is a real speedster, with some ridiculous 40 times. During recruiting he was told he would be used like a Percy Harvin. - A couple injury updates for Oregon basketball: Tenordre Williams didn't play this weekend, and won't on the trip to the Bay Area due to a "severe bone bruise." Also, Frantz Dorsainvil won't be available, due to a broken bone in his thumb, until February. His cast is due to be taken off in two weeks.
- The 2009 Oregon football schedule has been updated, and 5 games are set for broadcast on ABC/ESPN/ESPN2. The Boise State, Utah/Purdue, Cal, USC, and Oregon State games will all be on one of these networks. TV broadcasts are have not been determined for other games at this time.
