Good morning everyone. It's been a slow evening, but a few items have popped up.
- Miami should soon be announcing a new offensive coordinator. As you'll remember, this will be key in the decision where Bryce Brown goes to school next year. However, don't expect Brown to make a desicion anytime soon, with a March signing expected. In other recruiting news, Tajh Boyd will be making his decision tomorrow.
- Rickert had a couple good posts yesterday. First he talked about the new assisstant coaching situation, and gave a thumbs up to Jerry Azzinaro. He also claims that Scott Frost will be the new Oregon receivers coach. We'll see if that pans out. UPDATE: From Goducks.com, Frost will be the new wide receivers coach.
In the same article, he he had some comments on Cliff Harris. There is a lot of yapping about his academics, but he's apparently working his butt off, and knows his situation, so it's very possible if not likely that he will be in an Oregon uniform next year.
He also had another post yesterday where he talked up Diante Jackson (could Oregon steal him back from Colorado?), and talked about how Jeremiah Johnson made a big impact in the Senior Bowl. - There are few bright spots for the men's basketball team after another sweep. Though Oregon only lost by 7 to Cal, they have not led in the second half of a Pac-10 game since the opener against USC, and have not led since the WSU game. It's a very sad state of affairs right now.
