Oregon trounces Washington State 52-6

The Oregon Ducks dominated the Washington State Cougars in Autzen Stadium tonight, 52-6. However, what's even more impressive than that, is that the Ducks outgained the Cougars 514-158, and out first down'd them 31-4.

There wasn't much to criticize this game, with both QBs completing over 75% of their passes, while the running game averaged over 5 yards per carry, with no back having more than 13 carries.

Defensively, the Ducks had 4 sacks and 2 interceptions, and limited the Cougars to 3 yards per play.

The only real concern was injures to Jeremiah Masoli, LaMichael James, C.E. Kaiser, though none of them appear to be serious.

While Washington State is likely the worst team the Ducks will face this season, it's very encouraging to see that there was no letdown, and that the Ducks did what a team contending for the Pac-10 title should do.

So let's enjoy another Pac-10 win, as this four game homestand ends, and look forward to a big road game next week against the UCLA Bruins. GO DUCKS!
