After a great win over the weekend, Oregon sits at 4-1 (2-0 Pac-10), but our first big test comes this weekend. Oregon has flourished at home, but it's time to head back on the road. And while the Rose Bowl isn't Bronco Stadium, how Oregon plays at UCLA will hopefully let us see if this team is for real. On to the quack!
- In the news that everyone is talking about, Jeremiah Masoli and C.E. Kaiser are listed as day to day. While this can really mean anything, I am really not concerned about either injury. My guess is that Masoli will play versus UCLA, while Kaiser is more iffy, but our team should be in near perfect health after the BYE week.
- While I'm tired of talking about LeGarrette Blount, this piece makes me smile when thinking of prepping for Stanford. Meanwhile, if you've been reading terrible columns on the situation, cut it out. Instead, take a look at what the other players have to say about Blount possibly coming back. But what should be most encouraging, is that despite all the hoopla surrounding the program, it has not affected the players, who showed focus despite the numerous distractions.
- Ken Woody files his usual post-game recap. The Ducks dominated the game because of speed, which Wazzu just doesn't have.
- Oregonlive has a report on how future Ducks fared over the weekend in their high school games.
Make sure check out a number of videos after the jump, including highlights from Chip Kelly's press conference, and a number of player interviews. GO DUCKS!
