The 10th-seeded Oregon men's basketball team takes on seventh-seeded Washington State tonight in the first round of the Pac-10 Tournament. Tipoff is scheduled for approximately 8:30 p.m. PDT at the Staples Center.

The Ducks are coming off two-straight blowout losses to USC and UCLA last weekend in L.A. The Cougars are fresh from a tough loss of their own, coming up short against inner-state rival Washington in Seattle on Saturday, 67-60. However, prior to the loss, Wazzu had won their previous three games, including close wins over ASU and UCLA. The Cougars have beaten the Ducks twice already this year, including handing Oregon its worst defeat of the season, a 67-38 beat-down in Pullman a month ago.

Oregon will need to dictate the game's tempo early if it plans to advance, as Washington St. features the nation's top scoring defense, holding opponents to an average of 55.2 points per game. If the Ducks can get out and run, they have the talent to upend the Cougars.

The winner will take on second-seeded UCLA tomorrow night at the same time.

GO DUCKS!
