Ah Friday, my good friend. Quack makes it so much better:
- The Oregon men lost at USC last night, 80-66. While the team felt like there were there at the end, they just couldn't get it done. However, there are bright spots in the game. Oregon could have given up early, but battled back on multiple occasions, specifically to get within 1 at halftime, after being down by 12. The last few games have shown promise, so hopefully the Ducks will be able to build on that into next season.
- The Oregon women lost a heartbreaker at home to UCLA, going down on a half court shot at the buzzer, 70-69. Oregon thought they had the game when they went up 2 with 4.6 second left to play. Unfortunately, things didn't work out that way.
- Oregon baseball starts a 4 game, 3 day series at PK Park with Santa Clara. Both teams are struggling. Oregon just got swept in Seattle, and is batting only .236 as a team. Santa Clara is only 2-4. For either team, this will be a great chance for either team to gain some momentum. OregonLive also has the details of the series.
- Football spring previews continue! I looked at Oregon's wide receivers and tight ends, Rob Moseley looked at the Oregon running backs (he's so behind the times), and Ted Miller ran down the safeties through the Pac-10.
That's all for now. As always, stick around to discuss any news throughout the day. GO DUCKS!
