Did you grab your tickets yet? Single-game reserved tickets to all seven 2009 home football games went on sale at midnight last night (er, this morning). Aside from that, there isn't a ton of news out there today, but here's your Friday Fix:
- Defensive back Avery Patterson, one of Oregon's incoming recruits from Pittsburg, CA, has reportedly injured his right foot and is out indefinitely. This isn't cause for immediate concern, but let's hope it's not something that will hinder him long-term.
- ESPN.com's Ted Miller lists each Pac-10 team's biggest open-field threat to break loose for six.
Despite having never played a game for the DucksDespite limited action for the Ducks in 2008, Jamere Holland is Oregon's "home-run hitter," the term Miller users to describe "the most dangerous guys in open space."
- AZCentral.com's Jeff Metcalfe makes his preseason Pac-10 predictions. Oregon comes in at No. 4 behind USC, Cal, and Oregon State.
- And finally, BusterSports.com's Nick Daschel offers his first of a five-piece feature called "Pac-10 Football On $1,000." Up first: Portland, Oregon. If you live in Portland and want to know how you could see every Pac-10 team live during the 2009 season while only spending $1,000, I suggest you click the link and read Daschel's feature. It actually seems do-able.
Let us know in the comments if you picked up any tickets this morning. And, as always, post any relevant links or other comments below.
