There isn't a ton out there today, so let's get today's quack fix out of the way:
- Oregon recruit Cliff Harris pleaded no contest Wednesday to a misdemeanor charge of obstructing a police officer in connection with an incident that took place in April. He was sentenced to a year of probation and fined $300. His reason for pleading guilty rather than fighting the charges? Harris stated, "I want to play ball." He's expected to arrive in Eugene on Aug. 8.
- There's talk of a potential partnership between the Pac-10 and either the ACC or Big 12 on a single national TV network. Although preliminary talks haven't begun, Big 12 Commissioner Dan Beebe acknowledged it's worth exploring. The ACC's TV contracts expire after the 2010 season, while the Pac-10 and Big 12 deals last through 2011.
Now for a your Friday Open Thread topic: Erin Andrews peephole video. I'm sure you've heard the hubbub surrounding the release of a video portraying ESPN sideline reporter Erin Andrews nude in her hotel room. Has anyone actually seen the clip? Is there a chance we won't be seeing Erin on the Oregon sidelines this season? Should Dave retract his prior statements regarding Erin's attractiveness? These are all questions that need answering. So, talk amongst yourselves in the comments!
GO DUCKS!
