Auburn vs. South Carolina [Jared]:
Washington at Washington State [Dave]:
UW may be playing for a bowl, but they not a bowl worthy team. They are woeful on both lines, and their quarterback is erratic. WSU has the momentum of finally breaking through with a very well played game, three weeks off to prepare, and also come into the game with the better QB. Give me the Cougs in the Pullman snow.
Florida State vs. Virginia Tech [Matt Daddy]:
After starting the season on such a sour note with back to back losses to BSU and James Madison, Viginia Tech has had no problem tearing through the ACC going 8-0 in conference and winning 10 straight. They lead Florida St in every major statistical category and should easily wrap up the ACC Championship game in North Carolina. Va Tech by 10.
Oklahoma vs. Nebraska [Jeremy]:
In a perfect world, the Ducks win, Huskers win, Wazzu wins, I win my fantasy football semi-final and a giant sink hole swallows all of Boise. One of those things just isn't going to happen this weekend, so I'm bummed for my Huskers, cause a win in their final Big XII title game would've been cool. Ain't gonna happen. Nebraska hasn't played enough defense against quality teams and Oklahoma will use their balance and athleticism to pull it out. If Husker QB Taylor Martinez was 100 percent healthy, I might feel differently. But he's not...ruled "day-to-day". Bo Pelini should stop stealing Chip Kelly's lines.
Pittsburgh at Cincinnati [Paul]:
Motivation always plays a role in these conference grudge matches. Last year, the Bearcats, with current Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly at the helm, pulled out a wild 45-44 win against the Panthers to finish the regular season 12-0 and earn a Sugar Bowl invite. Kelly's long gone, and neither team is playing all that well of late. But Pittsburgh has extra incentive to win this game. Not only is Pitt looking for revenge for last year's tough loss, which kept them out of a BCS bowl, but the Panthers are also still mathematically in the running for a BCS berth (although it's a long shot, as they need help). Additionally, head coach Dave Wannstedt might be playing for his job. Look for Pitt to pull this one out, but it likely won't be nearly as entertaining as last year's game.
