Little Gorby

So many people on here have been supportive and helpful regarding my family's situation with my son that I wanted to make sure everyone was up to date on how Wyatt is doing.  I created a blog to document the situation and I'll be updating it as things happen.  There's a welcome post up there and the basic narrative of our journey to this point.  Feel free to check it out and comment.  Here's the link: Miracle Wolf.

Read after the jump for a brief synopsis if you don't feel like reading the whole thing.

Our newborn son, Wyatt, was diagnosed pre-natally with osteogenesis imperfecta/brittle bone disease (OI).  The doctors thought he wouldn't make it through the first couple days after being born.  He's now three weeks old and doing very well, so they're not sure if it really is OI.  We know there is something wrong with his bones, we just don't know what it is yet.  They're running tests to try to figure it out.  As of right now, though, things are great, and we're ecstatic that our baby is doing well.

Anyway, I appreciate all that you guys have said and done on here.  It's been a blessing.  I'm also thinking of doing a weekly fanpost (maybe bi-weekly, we'll see what time allows) where I pick one of the stories for the week and offer Little Gorby's thoughts.  Here's a very short sample:

Mike Belotti's $2.3 million golden parachute and the open AD position.  Little Gorby thinks:

When you're this cute, who needs $2.3 million?  Tell Lariviere I'll do it for a year's supply of breast milk.  And I'll be sure to let Canzano's "source" know every time my diaper needs changing.  He can use his latest column to wipe.  No one will know the difference.
