Another day, another quack shortage. Here it is, your Wednesday Morning Quack Fix:
- Rob Moseley reported yesterday an LSU/Oregon match-up, potentially at the Dallas Cowboys' new stadium, could be in the works. Moseley cites this report out of Baton Rouge. The Ducks currently have Kansas State and Utah on the schedule in 2011, but with KSU reportedly trying to get out of the game and Utah potentially joining the Pac-10 next summer, it's possible they'll need to add two new non-conference match-ups. Who would you like to see the Ducks line up with?
- ESPN.com's Ted Miller wrapped up his list of the top 25 players in the Pac-10 yesterday, with Oregon State's Jacquizz Rodgers coming in at No. 1. The Ducks finished with three players on the list: LaMichael James (No. 3), Kenny Rowe (No. 10), and Casey Matthews (No. 24). Miller also posted six additional players who didn't quite make the cut, including Oregon's Spencer Paysinger.
- These #1 recruits keep trying to outdo themselves in terms of drama, and Seantrell Henderson has outdone even the great Bryce Brown. After committing to USC and failing to show up for freshmen orientation, USC has released him from his LOI, and he is free to start at any school this fall. If it wasn't clear already, USC is going to have little margin for error moving forward as their depth is depleted due to sanctions.
