Questions linger as to if it was a pyrrhic victory, as Darron Thomas was yanked in favor of Bryan Bennett for reasons unknown, potentially creating a quarterback controversy. The pass defense was also largely poor, as Marshall Lobbestael passed for 337 yards on the Ducks.
But, in the end, the offense finally found its rhythm and two special teams touchdowns ended up being the difference.
