Catatonic Wildcat fan here. As we continue to look for the bottom of AZ football the only hope most of us have is the promise of a new era under our next coach. There are many intriguing names out there, but it appears that Bellotti is the prohibitive favorite at the moment - at least that's what the internet in Wildcat nation seems to believe. The concept appears to be that Bellotti comes in for 5 years or so as the CEO program-building head coach with a hand picked coordinator groomed to be HC in waiting. Bellotti would also be the polished statesman that the program needs to reach out to the community - something we obviously didn't have with the last guy!
Would love to hear what Duck fans think if you're inclined to comment. Thanks.
