MBB Game 7 Open Thread: Oregon vs. Fresno State

First off, congratulations to Baylor's Robert Griffin III, winner of the 2011 Heisman Trophy. I'm glad that the Heisman voters decided to, instead of choosing the most noteworthy player on an elite and storied team or the player that had a season's worth of media hype in his corner, choose a special player who took an afterthought school to their best season in school history with both his arm and his legs. Maybe I'm just being a homer, but part of me feel like Griffin's path to Heisman immortality was paved by Dennis Dixon's 2007 season, and the era of the modern dual-threat quarterback now has two consecutive Heisman winners to hang its hat on. At least, until Cam Newton's gets vacated in 2014.#stillalittlebitter

On to Duck business!

Oregon Ducks (4-2) vs. Fresno State Bulldogs (4-5)

7 PM PST; Matthew Knight Arena; Eugene, Oregon

TV: Comcast Sports Northwest

The big story tonight will be the on-court debut of Minnesota transfer Devoe Joseph, who has sat out the first six games as part of his transfer agreement. The Ducks look to bounce back after dropping their last game, a 79-65 loss to BYU.
