Quack Fix: Previewing Weber State and Indoor Track & Field All-Americans named

We get basketball for at least one more week.  And, I am excited for another chance to watch this team play.

  • In preparation for tomorrow's CBI matchup, Bob Clark previews the Wildcats from Weber State.  Like the Ducks, Weber State has had to overcome some adversity this season, mostly in the form of injuries to key players.  And, in a quote that I would assume could be used to describe all the teams in the CBI, head coach Randy Rahe described his team: "We’re not the prettiest group out there to watch and we’ve got some limitations, but we’ve found a way to do some good things."
  • Rob Moseley has started his Spring Preview series of blog posts.  Yesterday, he went over the quarterback position.  Not a lot of surprises, though he thinks that Daryle Hawkins will be back with the QBs for spring drills to help provide depth.
  • All 10 women on Oregon's winning NCAA Indoor Track & Field were named first team all-Americans.  Joining them from the men's team were Matthew Centrowitz and David Klech. Steve Ritchie has a nice post on Jordan Hasayy who helped lead the Ducks to their NCAA title.
  • Looking for an update on the whole recruiting services story?  Moseley is reporting on stories about "close ties" between the UO and Will Lyles, including Lyle accompanying assistants on recruiting trips.  Much of the article is based of the Thayer Evan's article that Jared posted in yesterday's fix.

Go Ducks!
