Alabama remains at the top of the SBNation BlogPoll but both Florida and South Carolina earned first place votes along with a handful of other teams. Oregon remains at number 2 but several teams are right on their tail. South Carolina, Florida, and West Virginia all vaulted several spots to round out the top 5. Oregon State debuts in the top 10 while LSU remains number 9 -- and the highest ranked 1-loss team -- despite their loss to Florida. Florida State and Georgia both fell eight spots while Lousiana Tech and Iowa State were the biggest risers. Boise State and Arizona State, two very strong teams from out west, remain on the outside looking in, but the Pac-12 still has four teams in the top 25.
ATQ won two "awards" this week. One is the "Chip Kelly Award for Boldness", which is rather apropos and means that our ballot was the most divergent from the poll at large (read: we don't drink the FSU, LSU, Georgia kool-aid). The second award was for "swing" voting, which is becoming a rather routine award for us and means we aren't afraid to move teams up and down based on weekend performances (probably also due to our lack of fealty to "traditional powerhouse" programs that don't live up to the hype).
