The Ducks held steady at #2, and Oregon State broke into the top ten in the Week 7 AP Poll released Sunday morning. Following the losses of top ten squads LSU, Georgia, and Texas, South Carolina used their impressive performance to jump to #3, followed by Florida, West Virginia, Kansas State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and LSU. The Beavers round out the top ten.

UCLA and Washington dropped out of the rankings after losses this week, while USC climbed to #11 and Stanford moved up a spot to #17. The bottom five spots are all occupied by teams who were not ranked last week: Cincinnati, Texas A&M, Louisiana Tech, Boise State, and Michigan. Previously #3 Florida State dropped all the way to #12 after losing to unranked NC State.

There was significant variation in the Coaches' Sports Information Directors' Poll, as Oregon State rose only to #14, still ranked behind one-loss teams LSU, USC, Oklahoma, Florida State, Georgia, and Clemson. The Coaches' top five consists of Alabama, Oregon, South Carolina, West Virginia, and Kansas State. USC climbed up to #9. Stanford is the only other Pac-12 team ranked at #17.
