- While we all wait to find out which bowl the Oregon Ducks football team heads to this season, it's pretty well assured to be the Fiesta Bowl on January 3rd. The opponent should be determined this weekend as Kansas State takes on Texas in a game that will ultimately determine the Big 12 Conference Champion. I'm really excited to go back to the Fiesta Bowl. It's a great venue and the bowl game itself has a fun history to it. On a personal level, I'm rooting for Kansas State, only because I want to see Chris Harper reuniting with his old mates on the field.
- Around the conference, with USC heading to the Sun Bowl, it appears that the Sunday after Thanksgiving was a bit awkward as Monte Kiffin is resigning from the Trojans after their bowl game. While he says he wants to explore NFL jobs, I'm not buying it. I think that Monte is a proud man who's had a distinguished career. I look at this as a situation where he fully understood what happened last year and he needed to step away for the good of his son's career. Instead of making Lane fire him, he did the honorable thing.
- in "Chip Kelly is Leaving us Rumor News", Casey Matthews gave an interesting interview about Chip's prospects in the NFL and how he would fit in with the Philadelphia fan base. Oh, it's just a matter of time. Time to start thinking up new catch phrases because we're going to have to replace a lot of WTD gear.
And finally, I'm absolutely, 100% sure that Chip reads the blog so I'm betting he loves our Friday videos. Chip, I think you should reconsider going to the NFL. I know that we aren't always the best fans in the world, but we definitely appreciate the good things in life. I'm sure you've seen the story about Philadelphia Eagles fans throwing snowballs at Santa. Do you want to be that guy? No, no one wants to be that guy.
