The Oregon Ducks have secured the commitment of offensive tackle Jake Pisarcik of Medford, New Jersey. Pisarcik, a 6'4", 278 lb. out of Shawnee High School in suburban Philadelphia. Pisarcik, the son of former NFL quarterback Joe Pisarcik, is an unrated recruit, a classic late bloomer after moving from tight end to offensive tackle before his senior season. This move came together fast for the Oregon coaching staff, as the school had expressed interest in Pisarcik only last week:

"This all happened so fast," Shawnee coach Tim Gushue said. "They expressed interest in him last week. When they liked what they saw, they came here and met him in person. They really liked him."

Pisarcik becomes Oregon's third offensive line commitment this class, joining Oregon natives Doug Brenner (Jesuit) and Evan Voeller (West Linn). The Ducks now have 12 commits in this class including JUCO linebacker Joe Walker, who just signed is LOI and will enroll at the school in January.
