Well, it looks like Oregon is headed to the NIT. If you're not ready to move on from last night's loss quite yet, here's Dave's recap of the game.
- The Ducks suffered their second one-point loss to Colorado of the year as they were eliminated from the Pac-12 tournament last night. Despite struggling offensively for most of the game, Oregon score 10 straight to take a two-point lead with a couple of mines left and then had the ball for the final possession, which ended with Devoe Joseph settling for a long three.
- Ted Miller also had a couple of Oregon-related posts yesterday. First, LaMichael James was named the #3 player in the Pac-12 for 2011. Despite Miller noting that LMJs 2011 was better than 2010, he still falls behind Andrew Luck and Matt Barkley. Miller also noted which teams are losing defensive production by listing each team's leader in tackles, interceptions and sacks and noting which players are returning next year.
- Aaron Fentress has a story on the origins of the Nike College Showcase, which has Oregon and Oregon State hosting 12 baseball games this weekend. Opponents will include Oklahoma, Connecticut, Illinois and West Virginia.
- The Oregon women are seeking their third-straight NCAA Indoor Track & Field championship this weekend. The two-day meet begins today and the Ducks are led by Brianne Theisen and Jordan Hasay. Ken Goe also has a feature on distance runner Alex Kosinski who is healthy and eager to compete in this year's meet after sitting out the last two indoor championships with an injury.
Go Ducks!
