Dominic Artis leads Findlay Prep to ESPN National High School Invitational Championship, Anthony Bennett to play in Portland this weekend

Future Duck point guard Dominic Artis led his Findlay Prep basketball team to its third ESPN National High School Invitational Championship this weekend. Artis was part of a balanced Findlay attack that saw four players from the team score in double digits in both the semifinal and final. Oregon prospect and consensus top 10 player nationally, Anthony Bennett, had 13 points and 9 rebounds in the championship game.

Bennett, who was born in Canada, will represent the international squad at this weekend's Nike Hoop Summit at the Rose Garden in Portland. He plans to visit the University of Oregon sometime in early April, and says Artis lobbies him to join the Ducks "all the time". The 19-years-old or younger Hoops Summit is an annual event that puts the top American players against an international select team. Past Hoops Summits have featured players like Kevin Love, Derrick Rose, Nicolas Batum, Dirk Nowitzki, Kevin Garnett, and Anthony Davis, among many others. Complete rosters for the game are available here. For anyone interested in attending, tickets are $10 at the door or $5 pre-sale.

In other news, Oregon continues to look for recruits to round out next years' roster. Jerron Wilbut is the most recent player to receive an offer from Oregon. Wilbut is a 6-2 shooting guard from Illinois and also holds offers from Memphis, Virginia Tech, Missouri State, and Dayton.
