- Spring practice began yesterday, and Chip Kelly was happy with what he saw. Of course, due to Kelly's closed practice policy, we have no idea what he's happy about. Apparently, there was a 50-50 split on QB duties between Bryan Bennett and Marcus Mariota. There are no doubts who will start at running back, as Kenjon Barner looks to step out of LaMichael James' shadow.
- While the women's track team has won three straight national indoor titles, they have finished second to Texas A&M three years in a row in the outdoor season. The two powers collide this weekend in the Pepsi Invitational at Hayward Field.
- Lossington guard Tony Wroten has joined Terrence Ross in declaring for the NBA Draft. The coach of the year did an amazing job to deliver an NIT appearance with two first round picks.
