I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day. Looks like the quack also took a holiday, as we're a bit light this morning.
- After the sweep by Oregon State, the Ducks fell to #10 in the latest Baseball America ranking. The Beavers, meanwhile, jumped seven spots to #16. In all, six conference teams made the latest rankings, led by UCLA at #2.
- Despite the lost weekend, Oregon was still tabbed as the #5 seed overall and will host Austin Peay, Cal State Fullerton and Indiana State at PK Park this weekend. If Oregon wins the double elimination regional, they will also host a super regional. Oregon will look to start a new winning streak on Friday at 6 pm against Austin Peay.
- Aaron Fentress writes that the team is excited about their seeding and looking forward to taking on the Commodores. Also of interest is that Horton's former team will be pitted against the Ducks the weekend.
- The golf NCAA championships begin today in L.A. and Adam Jude has an article about the Oregon men having a shot to win their first national title. The Ducks begin play seeded seventh out of 30 teams. This weeks also marks the end of three Duck standouts who will finish their college careers: Eugene Wong, Daniel Miernicki and Andrew Vijarro.
