Unless you are an Olympic Trials fans, it was a really slow weekend for Quack. Only a couple of nuggets were turned up, so please be on the lookout for more:
- The big event in TrackTown USA right now is the US Olympic Trials. While storylines abound, Ashton Eaton stole the weekend. Eaton set a new world record in the decathalon, and turns his attention to gold in London. Of everything I'm looking forward to about the Olympics this summer, watching Eaton is at the top of that list. If you want to get caught up on Trials action, Duck Sports Now's timeline is filled with Trials stories.
- Bob Clark has some news on the Mens basketball front, as new NCAA rules allow coaches to work with players during the summer. This is big for Oregon, which has six new players coming into the program.
Given the lack of quack, here is some off-topic chatter for y'all to talk about. The Trail Blazers have the #6 and #11 picks in Thursday's NBA Draft, and need a lot of help pretty much all over the floor. Of the current roster, only LaMarcus Aldridge, Nic Batum, and Wesley Matthews are rotation players on a good team, and Batum, a restricted free agent, is no lock to return next season. If you are one of the many ATQers who is also a Blazer fan, whose name would you like to see be called for the red and black on draft day?
