Look at that, Mariners fans had something to be excited about yesterday. You don't see that too often. Here's the quack I could find today.
- The Ducks had a busy day yesterday. After the offense took the competition day on Tuesday, the Ducks had two practices yesterday, including a competition day won by the offense ($). The offense won 40-33, and it sounds like Chip is pleased with effort and conditioning.
- It sure is fun going into a season with all the hype on the defense. Fentress adds another piece, talking about how the defense will be continuing to bring the pressure this season. He also has a quote from Nick Cody, who said, "they're the best front seven I've dealt with since I've been here."
- Speaking of the front 7, Moseley has a profile on the two JC defensive linemen, Isaac Remington and Jared Ebert. Remington made a big impact last season, and Ebert is looking to do the same this year after redshirting last season.
- The Ducks come in at #4 in Sports Illustrated Preseason Top 25. George Schroeder also has a team profile for the magazine.
