The quack is still low, but next week fall camp starts, and before we know it, it'll be September first. Here's what I could dig up.
- I am really excited about the defense this year, so I'll always check out these previews. Rob Moseley had a preview yesterday of the linebackers. The top 3 (Clay, Alonso, and Lokombo) are great players. Behind them? Some unproven talent, but we got to see some freshmen play last year, so I think we'll be just fine. Fentress has a preview of the secondary. While there's some concern about the rover position, Boyett and the experienced corners will more than make up for that.
- Oregon comes in 3rd in pollspeak.com's list of the five most underrated teams of the past five years. Stanford also comes in as underrated, which should be no surprise. There is one Pac-12 team, though, that is right up there were Oklahoma and Florida State as the most overrated. I guess that's what happens when your coach forgets how to coach QBs.
- Ted Miller had a good interview with Kenjon Barner. No injuries this year, please no injuries. Speaking of Barner, he and De'Anthony Thomas made the Hornung award watch list for the best player in CFB.
That's all I got, so drop any more quack in the comments, or discuss anything else. GO DUCKS!
