The Week 6 college football rankings are out, and there is little disagreement over the top five teams in the land. Both the AP and coaches sports information directors polls have Alabama, Oregon, Florida State, LSU, and Georgia in the top five, the only difference being that the AP flipped Florida State over LSU after the Tigers struggled with FCS Towson State on Saturday.
Six Pac-12 teams are in the AP Poll this week: Oregon (2), USC (13), Oregon State (14), Stanford (18), Washington (23) and UCLA (25). The sports information directors have both Washington and UCLA unranked, despite having one more spot available due to their exclusion of Ohio State. Don't ask me how voters in both polls deem it justified to rank Nebraska above UCLA given the data points and head-to-head, but whatever.
The AP rounds out their top ten with South Carolina, Kansas State, West Virginia, Notre Dame, and Florida; the sports information directors chose South Carolina, West Virginia, Kansas State, Texas, and Notre Dame.
