After being named head coach on Sunday, Mark Helfrich has wasted no time doing what needs to be done this time of year: take care of recruiting. Helfrich and the remaining staff have hit the road hard in the last week, making visits to many of Oregon's top commits, including Thomas Tyner, the Robinson twins, and Dontre Wilson. Reports from Duck Territory are that all of the visits went great.

Anything can happen before signing day, but for now it appears the coaching staff is doing everything it should to keep this class together and finish strong.
They've also been visiting new recruits and making new offers. One of the most exciting, an offer that Ducks' fans have been clamoring for, is to four star wide receiver Devon Allen from Phoenix, Arizona. Like so many other Ducks, Allen is also a legit track star. He visited Eugene in October and was offered a track scholarship before being offered for football last week. In addition to Oregon, Allen is considering Arkansas, Florida State, Stanford, and UCLA.
Other uncommitted players have also been getting visits from the coaching staff, most recently three star S/WR prospect Juwaan Williams from Tucker, Georgia. Both Williams and four star offensive lineman Cameron Hunt have the Ducks in their final two.
Finally, there will be a number of recruits taking their official visits to Eugene this weekend. Duck Territory reports that four star offensive lineman Maurice Porter, three star QB Damion Hobbs, and three star defensive end Elijah George will all be on campus. There are also rumors that running back Trevorris Johnson, who is committed to TCU, will be in town. Linebacker Keishawn Bierria, an under the radar player who had a huge senior season, is schedule to visit next Wednesday.
Official signing day is Wednesday, February 6.
