Oregon Ducks Volleyball: Preview (and open thread) Vs. UCLA Bruins

This is where it will all go down tonight.

Need some Duck action before the game tomorrow? You've come to the right place.

Coming into this weekend, the Ducks have had a bit of an up and down season. After losing Lauren Plum and the match to the Arizona Wildcats, they turned around and beat the #15 Sun Devils in Tempe to at least get a split of the Arizona schools.

Before their match up with the top ranked team in the country, Oregon welcomes the #23 UCLA Bruins to town. The Bruins have been on a bit of a slide lately losing four straight but maintaining their ranking. The Bruins have been near the bottom of the conference in most defensive stats and while the Ducks have had some trouble getting their outside hitters going, the Ducks will have the opportunity to get it going tonight.

Oregon will still be without Lauren Plum tonight and it could affect them down the road, but UCLA does not block the ball well so Oregon might get by with it in this match. On the reverse side, the Ducks' block has been much improved. Expectations for this match should be an Oregon win but not likely in straight sets.
