Oregon Ducks Football: Monday Practice Report

New, comments

Following Marcus Mariota's big day against UW, we get to hear from him among other Ducks.

Steven Bisig-USA TODAY Sports

Oregon seems to have moved permanently into the Mo Center as the temperature continues to drop. At this point the walk from the Mo to the locker room is comparable to walking through the cryo tubs. All hyperbole aside we got a bevy of Ducks to talk to today including coach Campbell and Helfrich as well as DAT, 8MM and Keanon Lowe.

Mariota is seeing a lot of attention in the Heisman race among post season awards and the question gets asked several times if he is the best player in the country. Marcus deflects the question but after the recording ends, De'Anthony Thomas says that Mariota is the best player in the country, except for him. Also. DAT talks on how close he actually was to seeing the field against the Huskies.

Helfrich gives credit to WSU and talks about how hard they play and points out Deone Bucannon as an example of someone for the Cougs who "really brings it."
