For some reason.

Dropped out of the Top 25: Arizona State, Maryland

The biggest thing that sticks out is Ohio State. The Buckeyes beat a ranked (and very good)Northwestern team, on the road, and drop from #4 to #6. What gives? What gives is the rise of Stanford and Florida State. The Seminoles absolutely demolished a previously-unbeaten Maryland 63-0, the worst loss ever sustained by a ranked team in football history. And Stanford impressed our West coast bias by MacGyvering a win vs. Washington out of kick returns and concentrated scrappy.

The big movers include Baylor (who I think is criminally underranked), Florida (who looks to have actually found a quarterback to complement their elite defense), and hard-luck losers Washington and Northwestern. Georgia and UCLA also drop a spot each after struggling with Tennessee and Utah, respectively.

Personal biases this week: Dave hates Louisville (#16) and loves Georgia (#5), Jake loves Stanford (#3), and hates Baylor (#19), Noah hates Ohio State (#9), I love Baylor (#7) and hate Texas A&M (#19), and Dom loves Louisville (#6) and hates Texas Tech (unranked).

Big games this week: #1 Oregon @ #14 Washington, #7 Georgia vs. #24 Missouri, #8 LSU vs. #19 Florida
