Duck Territory reports that Oregon will be hosting three key visitors this weekend in quarterback Morgan Mahalak, offensive tackle Chris Brown, and defensive back Budda Baker.
Budda Baker - Baker has been one of Oregon's top targets all year. He's a top 50 player nationally and the top rated recruit in the state of Washington. It is thought that Oregon has been in the lead all along, but he is also strongly considering Washington and UCLA. An important consideration is proximity to home, which likely eliminates UCLA. Baker's mother will be visiting with him this weekend and her comfort with the Oregon program could go a long way in influencing Budda's decision.
Chris Brown - Brown is a big offensive tackle at 6'6, 290 lbs and has the frame to get even bigger. A late bloomer, San Diego State was his only D-1 offer at the beginning of his senior season. He's since picked up offers from Oregon, USC, Texas A&M, UCLA, Nebraska, and Mississippi, among others. With only one offensive line commit in this year's class, Brown is an important target for the Ducks.
Morgan Mahalak - A four-star, dual-threat quarterback, Mahalak has been committed to Oregon since April. Since that time he has been a huge ambassador for the Ducks and is finally taking his official visit to Eugene. He will undoubtedly be a big help in selling the program to Baker and Brown.
Oregon had also hoped to bring in five star defensive back Adoree Jackson this weekend but Justin Hopkins reported on Friday that Jackson would not be making the trip.
