Just confirmed with him, Junior College Guard prospect Haniteli Lousi (6'5/295) has committed to Oregon. 4-star on multiple sites.— Tony Di Francisco (@TonyDiFrancisco) December 10, 2013
Lousi is a four-star interior lineman who measures in at 6'5, 295 lbs. He has excellent size and should provide instant depth along the offensive line. Lousi is the #1 offensive guard and #19 rated JUCO player in the country according to the 247composite ranking system.
Lousi is Oregon's third commitment along the offensive line and along with Braden Eggert (6'7, 305) and Tyrell Crosby (6'5, 290) makes up a solid recruiting class for Coach Steve Greatwood. After his commitment he reached out to four-star JUCO receiver Eric Lauderdale on Twitter, who also holds an offer from Oregon:
With the addition of Lousi Oregon has moved up to #23 in the 247composite team rankings. Notably, every school above Oregon has more commitments, with the exception of #12 LSU, who also has 15 commits. In addition to the Ducks, Lousi had offers from Kansas, Arizona State, Hawaii, San Jose State, and Colorado.
