- Nice story on Gary Campbell, who will be returning to his home state for the Alamo Bowl this month.
- The Oregon women put up the points last night, beating Southern 130-90. This illustrates everything wrong with the Westhead system. You can overwhelm a terrible team like Southern by jacking up terrible volume shots. Pac-12 teams are still going to crush you en masse.
- Three JUCO players officially signed their letters of intent to play football at Oregon.
- Sophomore pitcher Cole Irvin has been named a preseason All-American.
Figures to be a slow news Thursday, so here's a discussion topic: Sonny Dykes went 1-11 and Cal looked terrible in every way last season. What is a reasonable expectation for Cal next year for Dykes to avoid the hot seat?
