Oregon Men's Basketball Vs. BYU Cougars Preview & Open Thread

Ducks put their perfect record on the line against the Cougars

Scott Olmos-USA TODAY Sports

After having rolled up the UC-Irvine Anteaters, the Ducks welcome a challenge of a different kind to Matthew Knight Arena tonight.

The BYU Cougars come into town to face the Ducks and boast one of the best offenses the Ducks have faced to this point in the year.

Capable of scoring points in bunches, the Cougars have already played two Pac-12 conference opponents, splitting those meetings with a 112-103 win over Stanford and a 81-64 loss against Utah last Saturday.

Oregon also marks the fourth ranked team the Cougars have played, dropping all three of those decisions as well.

It will be interesting to see how Oregon's defensive pressure keeps up after putting on a show against the Anteaters as they try to contain All American candidate Taylor Haws. Haws averages 22 per game and shoots at over 40% from the field.

Jerry Allen will have the call in 95.3 FM and the Pac-12 will have the TV featuring everyone's favorite former Oregon coach named Ernie.
