Quack Fix: Autzen Stadium Improvements, Oregon Baseball, Lance Deal coaching Team USA

I know people have been hoping for an Autzen Stadium EXPANSION project but I'm very excited for the North Side Accessibility project. The fan experience on the north side will be greatly improved by the project and it will add a nice, northwest forest-style flair in terms of architecture. I can't wait to see it in person.

  • If you don't know what I'm talking about in terms of the accessibility project, you can read all about it here. We also have the artist's rendition of the stadium supplied by the University. We also have some more information from goducks.com.
  • Former throws coach and current director of track & field venues and program support, Lance Deal, has been named to the USATF Staff for the IAAF World Championships. He takes over as assistant coach for women's throws for Team USA. Congratulations to Lance and the entire Oregon Track and Field family on the honor.

Last night, we saw UCLA and Arizona both go down to Pac-12 foes. You know who's sneaking up in the standings? Cal, Arizona State and Colorado. The Bears are playing much better and destroyed UCLA last night. Oregon plays Cal at home on February 21which may have some major ramifications in the standings depending on what happens this weekend. While ASU has lost against Stanford and Utah recently, they still have games against UCLA and Arizona down the stretch and own the tiebreaker with Cal.

Either of these teams could sneak up if Oregon falters.

And finally, without any introduction, here is your Friday Video. Enjoy.
