- It's Senior Night for the Oregon basketball team, and they're hosting OSU tonight. At the center of the festivities will be EJ Singler, who has not missed a game in 4 years at Oregon, and tonight will be his 108th start. With Arizona dropping another game last night, Singler has a great opportunity to help lead the Ducks to the conference title.
- Senior Arsalan Kazemi will have an important task tonight: slowing Eric Moreland. Both players are in the top 10 in the country in defensive rebounding percentage.
- OSU is focused on stopping Damyean Dotson, who was key in Oregon's victory this year over OSU. Dotson scored a career-high 21, 15 of which were in the second half.
- Bill Connelly has one of the first articles out after he and others started doing some extensive charting of games. This is on NCAA QBs and their completion percentages broken down by where down the field they throw the ball. While Oregon went down the field a bit last season, this is definitely an area that Marcus Mariota can improve. But he still fared very well in the "adjusted completion percentage" stat Connelly used.
