Tournament time has returned to Eugene as the Ducks enter the tournament for the first time since 2008. The Pac-12 Tournament champions face an early challenge against the #5 Seed Oklahoma State Cowboys.
The Cowboys are led by their athletic freshman Marcus Smart who has averaged 15.4 points per game so far and it will be interesting to see how Oregon's freshman Damyean Dotson handles the challenge of guarding the Big 12 Player of the year.
Much has already been made of Oregon's seeding but quite frankly, it gives the Ducks a more favorable road if they were to advance past the opening weekend, not having to face Louisville in the Sweet 16. It's doubtful, thought that anyone on the court will be looking ahead to that match up. There's work to be done.
The game will be live on TNT and I will be here, live in San Jose talking ball, but not that show on Comcast.
GO DUCKS!
