Oregon always seems to have trouble with the huskies when it comes to baseball. They will hope to flip the script this series against their heated northern rival. washington has had a tough season so far with a 2-12 road record but have won their last two. They won their last series against the USC Trojans and had their highest run output in a game (8) and in a series (16),
The Ducks on the other hand have won 8 of their last 9, including a series win against the Arizona Wildcats and the USC Trojans. They opened their home stand with a 5-1 win over the in state Portland Pilots. Jake Reed (3-3 3.44 ERA) takes the hill in the season opener and will look to get the Ducks home stand off to a good start.
