Quack Fix: Baseball takes on Vanderbilt, No Punishment for Stanford and Cal, Star Wars VII

While that Men's Basketball game last night caused us to collectively gouge our eyes out, one my takeaways from the game was that even in losing tonight, we still have a chance to clinch the conference title.

Hang in there Crafty, we'll get through this somehow.

Hindsight is 20/20 but I'm not sure anyone foresaw a situation at the beginning of the year where this team would lose a game this late and still be able to win the Pac-12 title. Bring on Utah.

  • We're going to find out how good the Oregon Ducks Baseball team really is this weekend as the no. 2 ranked Vanderbilt Commodores come to PK Park for a three-game series. The SEC power comes in with a bit of a chip on their shoulders as the Ducks swept the series last year. If you've checked the weather report, Eugene is going to have perfect baseball weather this weekend so if you haven't checked this team out, now is a good time to do it.
  • After the scuffle between the Stanford and Cal men's basketball teams on Wednesday, the Pac-12 conference has decided not to take any further action against the teams or their coaching staffs.
  • George Lucas has spilled the beans, revealing that Luke, Leia and Han are all signed on for Star Wars VII to be directed by JJ Abrams.

And finally, I think we could all use a pick me up. It's only been 2 months since the Fiesta Bowl win over Kansas State and now that Spring ball is about to kick off, let's take a look back.
