- While many Duck fans are focused on the woeful kicking game, Oregon must also replace 4-year punter Jackson Rice. Though to be the next in line is JC transfer Dylan Ausherman, who is competing with Alejandro Maldonado for the job. Fentress also has an article on the competition.
- Oregon softball is rolling, leading the conference after winning series against California and Washington. No. 17 Arizona comes to Eugene this weekend. What's setting Oregon apart this year? Not only having the best pitching staff in the conference (with an ERA of 1.47), but they also have (arguably) the best hitter in Alexa Peterson. She's batting .466 with a .544 OBP, and is also slugging at .830. The full-time catcher for the Ducks the past two seasons, she's now splitting time with Janelle Lindvall, and that has obviously helped her batting greatly.
- Ken Goe has more on the 2016 Olympic Trials which will be held at Hayward Field.
- Lots of video interviews from yesterday's practice. Here's Nick Aliotti, always a good interview. Make sure to check the athlete sections for videos of Tony Washington, Terrance Mitchell, and Marcus Mariota.
For your Friday video, man, it's just so much fun to make fun of the NCAA. GO DUCKS!
