BERKELEY, Calif. - Scott Heineman hit two of Oregon's four home runs and had four RBI to lead No. 16 Oregon to a 10-4 Pac-12 Conference win at Evans Diamond on Friday night.

Heineman, who entered the game with one career home run, became the first Duck to hit two homers in a game since Aaron Jones had two at UCLA on April 5, 2012. His four RBI broke the career high of three he set last Sunday at Arizona State.

Heineman finished 3-for-5 with three runs scored and a RBI double. Ryon Healy was 2-for-4 with two RBI and three runs scored, while Brett Thomas went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and a RBI. Connor Hoffman was 2-for-4 with two RBI and Mitchell Tolman was 2-for-4 with a run scored.

Oregon jumped on the Golden Bears early scoring five runs in the first and three more in the second. Healy got the Ducks on the board in the first with a RBI base hit over the first baseman's head to score Thomas who led off the game with a double.

Heineman followed with a double one hitter later to score Healy and put Oregon on top 2-0. Tyler Baumgartner picked up a RBI with a ground out to second to score Tolman to give the Ducks a 3-0 lead. Hofmann added a two-run double scoring Heineman and Josh Graham to give Oregon a 5-0 lead after one inning.

Oregon hit a pair of home runs in the second inning to add three runs. Thomas led off the inning with a blast to right field, and Heineman hit a two-run shot to left center scoring Healy to make it 8-0.

Cal (16-18, 5-9 Pac-12) cut the lead to 8-4 with two runs in the second, a run in the third and a run in the fifth, but Healy and Heineman added solo home runs in the eighth and ninth respectively to end the Cal rally.

Cole Irvin (7-1) picked up the win allowing four runs on seven hits in five innings.

Oregon (26-8, 11-3 Pac-12) will go for the sweep Sunday at 1 p.m.
